We are looking forward to celebrating National Lutheran Schools Week.
Every year during Lutheran Schools Week we choose a service project and this year’s recipient is the Salvation Army of Atchison. The donated items will be distributed to new mothers in the community
Monday: Washcloths and baby soap
Tuesday: Baby lotion and diaper rash cream
Wednesday: Disposable diapers in sizes 2 & 3
Thursday: Baby bottom wipes
Friday: Lotions and hot tea packets for new moms
Schedule of Events
Sunday, January 24th
Students will color Bible bookmarks that will be placed in the church bulletins. They will also sign a “Thank You” card to the Trinity congregation. Donuts will be served in the cafeteria during the Sunday School hour.
Monday, January 25th – Hawaiian Day
Dress in your favorite flowered shirt! Luau Dance at 2:30 in the gym
Tuesday, January 26th – PJ Day
No reason to get dressed in your uniform! come dressed in your jammies! Movie in the classrooms and popcorn for a snack.
Wednesday, January 27th – Sports Day
Wear your favorite sports team clothing! Students will be learning and sharing new Trinity Cheers in the gym at 3:00pm.
Thursday, January 28th – Nerd Day
Dig out those flannel shirts, pocket protectors, suspenders, and glasses! Students will participate in a Bible Trivia Contest in the gym at 2:30.
Friday, January 29 – Kansas Day
come dressed as your favorite Kansan, wear your favorite Kansas Team shirt, or be a cowboy or cowgirl for the day. Kindergarten vs. 8th grade basketball game in the gym at 2:30. During half-time, we’ll be celebrating our monthly Falcon Friday activities.
