Hold onto your hats – this is going to be the best circus ever!! 

There will be death-defying acts on the high wire, ferocious animals, and brave trainers!! You will see the funniest clowns, dancing bears, the strongest men in Atchison, fearless flame throwers, the best marching band in the State of Kansas, the Ringmaster, trampolinists, acrobats, balancing acts and jugglers, candy butchers, and more!!

Plan now to attend, Thursday, May 1, in the Trinity Big Top Gym at 6:30 pm, doors open at 6:00 pm.

Monday, January 27th – Pajama Day
Wear your comfy pjs, robes and slippers but come wide awake for a fun day with a movie in the afternoon.

Tuesday, January 28th – Hawaiian Day
Wear your best Hawaiian shirts, leis and hula skirts and be ready for some fun at the luau at 2:30 pm.

Wednesday, January 29th – Kansas Day
Wear Kansas clothing and get ready to participate in Kansas Trivia!

Thursday, January 30th – Color Day
Wear your class color. We’ll have a coloring activity in the afternoon with your chapel family.

Wear your Blue and Gold! Kindergarten vs. 8th-grade basketball game in the gym at 2:45.
Parents are welcome! During half-time, we’ll be celebrating our monthly Falcon Friday activities.

The students (and parents) are again welcomed daily with smiles and hugs from Sharon Dyer, our 80+ servant of the Lord.

We started the year with a wonderful chapel service on Wednesday (8/14/2024) led by Pastor Reed and accompanied with harmonious music from Melissa Blanton. The children sang praises to the Lord with a dozen adult visitors from the church and school. The teachers decided to sponsor Neil Wieland with our first-quarter chapel offerings. Neil was present to share with us information about his future ministry in Slovakia.

Recess was exciting with the relatively new climbing apparatus, more wood chips, and the additional outside basketball goal on the west side of the parking lot, courtesy of our Team Falcon parent-teacher organization and many volunteers.

The faculty and staff have done an incredible job of trying to adapt to my expectations and our multiple church and school boards are helping me understand how things have (and have not) worked in the past. I believe we are patiently figuring it all out together.

I have been working feverishly with the Technology and Day School Committees, with overwhelming support from parents and Team Falcon, to get safety and security heightened on our entire campus. We are working to identify the most effective way to ensure optimal protection for our students and staff. I ask you to pray that we make the best decision with great support in a timely manner.

I want to personally thank you all for your encouragement, love and support for this new school year adventure.

Mr. Birnbaum began his career as a second-grade teacher in Miami and became the principal in his fourth year.

After seven years in Florida, he moved to Dallas where he met his wife, Julie, who was teaching Kindergarten. They have been blessed with three children — Jacob and his wife Natalia, Madison, and Noah.

After serving sixteen years in Texas, he accepted a principal position in Oklahoma for eleven years. He also served as District Education Executive of the LCMS during those last nine years.

Mr. Birnbaum looks forward to starting his new adventures in Kansas.
