Volleyball is offered for Girls 5th-6th and Girls 7th-8th. Should either team not have enough players, 4th graders will be asked if they would like to play and 6th graders may be moved up to the 7th-8th level.

- Volleyball was created in 1895 by William G. Morgan in Holyoke, Massachusetts. It was originally known as Mintonette and took many characteristics from tennis and handball.
- It has been a part of the Summer Olympics since 1964.
- The American Men’s Olympic Volleyball team received the Gold medal in the 1984, 1988 and 2008 games. The American Women’s Olympic Volleyball team won its first Gold medal at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. The Women’s Beach Volleyball team received Gold in 2004, 2008 and 2012.
