Field Trips

Field trips are a great teaching tool.  Wikipedia describes them as “A  journey by a group of people to a place away from their normal environment.”

The students love them because it means a day away from school doing something fun.  The teachers love them because it brings their subjects to life and gets the children involved.

Most of our school field trips occur throughout the school year.  However, every other year our 7th and 8th grade students (and their parents) can choose to take part in a 4 day trip to our nation’s capitol.  Many Americans will never visit Washington DC and we are very proud our students can take advantage of such an opportunity.
